How to report a bug?
The best way to report a bug is to send it to bugs@coldboxframework.com or visit the
community forums and submit your bug there. Please note that community support is a non-paid
service and therefore the wait time for a response might not be immediate. Please abide by the following when
submitting your requests:
Required Information for support
- What version of ColdBox you are using?
- What CFML Engine you are on, and what version is it?
- What Operating System you are on ?
Required information if an error has occurred
- The FULL error trace, including all templates, the line the error occurred, and the full error message.
- The surrounding code that the error is occurring at and what the code does.
- A copy of your coldbox configuration file: coldbox.xml.cfm
- There can never be too much information in a support request, we cannot read minds, be detailed.
- Make sure you search all available resources first - community support resources
- If it is a complicated issue, a small test bed available for download which shows off the issue/bug is highly appreciated
